 All about the Brazilian

I’ll take the fuzz- you keep the peach!

Brazilian wax hair removal can seem scary to some if you haven’t embarked on the journey just yet- but take it from someone who has been waxing for a few years- IT IS WORTH IT! We encourage all clients to stick with us through a minimum of 3 Brazilian appointments- 6 for the really resistant fuzz growers! If you can make it through the first three, it’s truly smooth peaches from there!

The first Brazilian Waxing experience that you have just may be the most painful of them all- This is simply because your hair has not yet left the follicle- and for sure hasn’t been removed by the root of the hair follicle itself. If you have been shaving, you’ll notice a significant difference right away on regrowth within 3-4 weeks.

When sticking to a 3-4 week schedule, your hair will start to grow at the same growth cycle, and the root of the follicle will have less time to set in- making it weaker than the first wax removal hair experience. You will start to notice less pain, a more even result from waxing, and an overall better experience.

By your third wax appointment on a 3-4 week wax removal routine, you will notice a lot less hair growth, with finer hair, less pain and a much more pleasant experience. This is when your hair starts to grow in the same growth cycle, and with a weaker root to remove, hair exits with ease.

It is very important that you do not shave between waxing appointments, as this chops the fuzz from the top- growth cycles will be interrupted and waxing over time will become less even from hair growth between waxing as well as have more time to set in at the root.
