What to expect during your brazilian/bikini wax experience at Fuzzy Peach Waxing

Brazilian wax hair removal can seem scary to some if you haven’t embarked on the journey just yet- Take it from someone who has been waxing for a few years- IT IS WORTH IT! We encourage all clients to stick with us through a minimum of 3 Brazilian appointments- 6 for the really resistant fuzz growers! If you can make it through the first three, it’s truly smooth peaches from there!

The first Brazilian Waxing experience that you have just may be the most painful of them all- This is simply because your hair has not yet left the follicle- and for sure hasn’t been removed by the root of the hair follicle itself. If you have been shaving, you’ll notice a significant difference right away on regrowth within 3-4 weeks.

When sticking to a 3-4 week schedule, your hair will start to grow at the same growth cycle, and the root of the follicle will have less time to set in- making the root itself weaker than what it was during your first wax removal hair experience. You will start to notice less pain, a more even result from waxing.

By your third wax appointment on a 3-4 week wax removal routine, you will notice a lot less hair growth, (well depending on how coarse your hair is) with HOPEFULLY finer hair, less pain and a much smoother experience. This is when your hair starts to grow in the same growth cycle, and with a weaker root to remove, hair exits with ease!

It is very important that you do not shave between waxing appointments, as this chops the fuzz from the top- growth cycles will be interrupted and waxing over time will become less even from hair growth between waxing as well as have more time to set in at the root. Please make sure to follow your specialist’s advice for aftercare! It truly does improve your overall experience!

We specialize in full body waxing. Our process consists of skin prep, hard wax for removal itself, and follows up with luxury aftercare. We strive to provide you with the most comfortable experience, while educating you on all the homecare and education necessary to leave your service with confidence.

Vajacial

Yup! You read it correctly. VAGINA-FACIAL it’s just as it sounds… a facial for your lady parts! Cleansing, toning, steaming, exfoliating, extracting, and even a mask treatment. Don’t get it twisted, this is a treatment meant to benefit your vulva, and focuses on the bikini line, pubic mound, and the outer labia, not the actual vag!

Why do You Need it?

Pampering aside, vagina facials can benefit you if you experience ingrown hairs in your bikini area. This treatment is ideal for you if you receive regular waxing appointments and still struggle with post wax issues. May be offered in conjunction with your waxing appointment. Please request this from your technician. Recommendation is one-two weeks prior to wax or post wax.

Scrub + Mud

This service includes a full body scrub, a mud moisturizing mask, warm towels service, luxury skin serum and full body moisturizer, running from 45 minutes to an hour in length.

Designed to exfoliate and add hydration to the skin, this service was created with more than pampering in mind. Beside getting rid of dead skin cells, regular exfoliating treatments will increase skin’s radiance, clarity and youthfulness. By exfoliating first, the skin is ready to absorb all the benefits of our mud treatment to include speeding up the skin’s renewal process for younger looking skin and conditioning and soothing your skin with vitamin E and chamomile

CAUTION: If you are currently using any of the following, please inform your technician. These products can make the skin more sensitive. Thin, sensitive skin is more vulnerable to lifting and sensitivity during waxing.

Medications

WARNING: Waxing is never done on clients taking Accutane and is not recommended for clients taking Retin A, Renova, Differin or other types of skin thinning acne medications. Please read the label carefully and consult your dermatologist if you are taking any medication or using any topical cream that contains these medications. Individuals do react differently to these medications and sometimes waxing can be done if proper patch testing is completed.

General Guidelines

PRECAUTIONS & CONSIDERATIONS: Please read these valuable guidelines.

Sunburned, irritated or areas with open skin cannot be waxed.

Moles cannot be waxed.

You must wait a minimum of seven (7) days before waxing after a light chemical peel or Microdermabrasion.

Waxing cannot be performed if you have been in a tanning booth the same day.

Waxing cannot be performed if you have had laser skin resurfacing within the past year.

Waxing cannot be performed if you have had a physician administered peel within the past two (2) years.

If irritation should occur, recommend you use an antibiotic ointment such as Neosporin to keep the area continually moist to avoid infection and scabbing.

No sun/tanning booths for 2 days following a waxing treatment. Extra precaution should be taken if using tanning accelerators. Wait 2-3 days to wax before/after tanning with accelerators.

No hot baths for 24 hours following a body waxing treatment.

No abrasives for 24 hours following a waxing treatment.

No deodorants for 24 hours following an underarm waxing treatment.

Women may experience extra sensitivity to waxing up to a week prior to the beginning of their menses.
